Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a School Occupational Therapist for a mid-year maternity leave coverage near Albion, MI. This position runs from November 5th, 2026 to February 15th, 2027, with the chance of extending based on future needs. The role totals 37.5 hours per week, offering flexibility to work on-site or remotely via VOCO based on your preference and client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current, active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan (submission requires screenshot/copy of licensure)
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings strongly preferred
• Proficient in planning and delivering both on-site and virtual OT services
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable collaborating with diverse interdisciplinary teams
• Creative, adaptive, and engaging when addressing student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
• Implement interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
• Monitor progress, maintain timely records, and update educational teams and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Provide consultative guidance to teachers and support staff to support students’ functional skills
• Deliver high-quality services either in-person or through remote platforms (VOCO)
