An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students during a maternity leave from January through the end of the school year. This assignment is conveniently located near Columbia City, IN, within a supportive educational environment. The schedule runs from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, with the flexibility to accommodate therapists seeking part-time or limited-day arrangements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state
• Strong experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
• Familiarity with IEPs and the ability to document student progress
• Adaptable to different caseload sizes depending on availability
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records of interventions and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to student care
• Adjust services based on caseload and days committed, with flexible scheduling offered
