Looking for an opportunity to make a difference as a school-based Occupational Therapist? This contract position offers you the chance to provide essential OT services in a dynamic educational environment near Marshall, MI. You'll be filling in for a maternity leave, with the possibility for extension based on future needs. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week from November 5, 2026, through February 15, 2027, your expertise will support students' growth and daily success.

What we’re seeking:

• Background in school-based occupational therapy
• Experience with individualized student plans and therapy delivery in educational settings
• Active Michigan OT license required (must present a screenshot or copy upon application)
• Flexibility to work on-site or virtually (VOCO), with a preference for on-site availability
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Commitment to student-centered, goal-oriented therapy

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting evaluations and creating treatment plans tailored to students’ educational goals
• Implementing individual and group OT sessions to support sensory, motor, and self-help skills
• Documenting progress in accordance with all state and school/district guidelines
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing input for integrated support
• Guiding educators and parents in strategies to assist student development
• Adhering to professional and ethical standards in all aspects of practice
