About the Role:

Navy Yard Dental is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Philadelphia practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love helping patients feel at ease, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow your career in dental healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff
• Verify dental insurance benefits and process claims and co-payments accurately
• Maintain and update patient records, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times
• Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to manage daily patient flow

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting preferred
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Denticon)
• Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy front office
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental administrative training a plus
